Very likely: 34 is young-ish for diabetes to be the only issue--unless you do not have good control. Hgba1c in single digits? Sugars "always" <200? If no, start here, and quickly, as nerve damage not reversible for long. If yes, start w/urologist, but may still need tighter dm control. Stress & other life factors need considered also.

Yes.: Diabetes is a major risk factor for ed, as it can affect the small blood vessels and nerves of the body. Good glycemic control is important to long term erectile function. If you are concerned, see a urologist. There are many things that can be done to assess and address erectile function and preserve it. Good luck and take care.

DM/ED/MI: The presence of ED, especially with diabetes, is associated with an increased risk of an MI. Talk to your doctor about this.
