Rash: There are various reasons for rashes and because this is a generalized question with little specifics i will have to answer this the best i can. Usually a rash is inductive of either inflammation from an offending chemical or some type of infection. The easiest way to determine of a specialist is needed is to try topical Hydrocortisone cream for a week. If no resolution occurs then seek out help.

Many possibilities: There are many things that could cause a skin rash. Several types of inflammatory conditions of the skin, allergic reactions, sun exposure, insect bites, and sometimes bacterial, viral or fungal infections can cause rashes on the skin. Have it evaluated by a professional and get the appropriate treatment.
