Nasal congestion?: Good morning, if you are experiencing discharge of mucus and blood from the nose, it could be due to allergies to inhalant allergens. However, more often we find use of decongestants and medications such as Aspirin and Ibuprofen is associated with nose bleeds along with mucus from the nose. Use of humidifiers can keep the dryness from causing the disruption of nasal membrane, and nose bleeds.
