A member asked:

Is it normal to not get a mentrual period if on birth control?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Yes: Mnay low dose oral contraceptives do not allow the endometrial liining to grow very much, as an additional protection from potential implantation of a fertilized egg. Thus when the withdrawal bleeding occurs it can be minimal to non-existent.
