If you referred a child for phycological advice is that your medical decison not the phycologists?

Confusing question: I often send kids to see a specialist when it is evident that they need their specialty care. Whether this is a bone doctor or a psychologist, it is a decision based on my recognition from my training that that is what they need. Whether you split hairs & call this a medical decision or a psychological one is not the point.I use the training & experience I have as a physician to make that decision.
