Great not Perfect: Used absolutely perfectly, only 2% of women a year will still get pregnant when their partners use condoms. But 18% of women get pregnant in general with condoms since condoms are often used carelessly. Use spermicide with condoms. For latex condoms, water-based lubricants, such as k-y jelly or astroglide are safe but oil based lubricants like petroleum jelly, damage the condom and make it leak.
