It usually means: You need a bit more estrogen to stabilize the lining of your uterus. You can speak with your doctor about switching to a pill with higher estrogen if this is a recurrent problem. If this is an isolated event, then it can be rectified often by taking your current combination pill twice daily for 5 to 10 days. Your doctor can provide you with the specifics. Best of luck!
