Antibody: Most probably it's igg antibodies. (to be sure ask your doctor). It's a common cold sore hsv virus type 1, which most of us have antibody for. Don't worry, unless you have an active lesions anywhere else in your body.

Discuss with OB: This is most commonly associated with a simple cold sore, however, some with past genital herpes have had this test positive. Your OB can review with you the issue and impact on your delivery. Genital herpes is a risk to the baby and anyone who is actively shedding the germ may opt for c/section rather than expose baby.Neonatal infection can be disasterous.
