Essure = birth contr: I must be missing something. Essure (http://www.Essure.Com/) is a permanent non-hormonal form of birth control. Why take/get essure if you want to get pregnant? Best to discuss your goals w/your family doc or obgyn.

No: Essure prevents pregnancy. If you get pregnant with it you could have a tubal pregnancy.

NO: Essure is a form of permanent sterilization. The purpose is not to get pregnant every once you have the surgery. If you are pregnant it may be a tubal pregnancy and you should contact your doctor immediately.
