Cramps.: No.It depends on your pain tolerance which can vary from person to person. But if you are having severe cramps you should consult a physician to rule out the ectopic pregnancy.

Implantation cramps refer to the discomfort many women feel about 8-10 days after ovulation in a month when they become pregnant. The discomfort occurs as the fertilized egg, the embryo, "burrows" into the lining of the uterus (endometrium) where it will be begin to develop into a baby. That process is irritating to the uterus (which is primarily muscle) and produces a mild cramping sensation.

Do cramps on one side mean implantation?

Dr. Timothy Raichle answered

Maybe: If you are pregnant and you are having pain on one side or the other, it might mean either an ovarian cyst is present and causing pain or it can be a sign of an ectopic pregnancy. This should be discussed with your doctor and an HCG level and ultrasound should be ordered.
