Are condoms effective enough to be the only source of contraception?

Yes: But they should be well made and be sure that a condom is not perished. All it requires is a leak!

If used correctly: If used consistently & correctly, a condom can prevent pregnancy up to 98%. Because condoms are often used inconsistently & not correctly = efficacy is about 82 to 85%.
