Hand cream: Most dry skin problems respond to simple moisturizing. The trick is to apply consistently until the skin softens. Also be careful not wear irritating shoes. If the problem doesn't resolve, see a podiatrist who can prescribe a stronger skin softening agent like urea cream.

Moisturizing lotions: I like water-based moisturizing lotions. My favorites are dml lotion and dml forte cream. These are water based, and don't have any fragrences or colorings that could cause skin irritations.

Try CeraVe lotion: This lotion provides a great moisture barrier for dry skin. You should see the difference in a few days.
