Be safe.: If you stopped taking birth control pills, there is always a chance of pregnancy from unprotected sex. The withdrawal method is not a reliable form of birth control (see chart). Unless you are planning to conceive, please speak with your doctor about starting back on birth control. If you were not happy with your former method, there are many other options out there.
