I get my period very often. it only lasts a few days but it comes back 7-12 days later. why could this be happening?

Need to be checked: This is too frequent to be normal or real periods. However, if you happen to on the birth control pill this is a common side effect and will usually resolve in a few cycles. Otherwise you need to be checked since there are quite a few causes for this.

Hormones: Hormonal irregularity are your issue. Take an ocp and it should help you.
