Maybe (not) . . .: It's difficult to answer b/c you're from across pond in great britain so, having trained here in states & been isolated, I have no idea what is included in cough syrups sold where you live. Best to ask doc who prescribed your gabapentin. Or ask pharmacist. With that said, otc cough syrups sold in states may contain Guaifenesin +/- dextromethorphan which online.Epocrates.Com shows no issues w/gabap.
