Period unpredictable: First period after a D&C is unpredictable. Maybe normal, light or heavy with clots. Do not be alarmed. Continue your usual follow-up with your doctor to be reassured that all is normal.

2-6 weeks: The first period after a miscarriage is often a little off. Sometimes it is early and sometimes late. Sometimes heavier and sometimes lighter. I ask my patients to be patient and give your body a couple of cycles to get back to normal.
