Sexuality: Most health professionals and scientists believe that sexual preference is somehow programmed into us and is not a "choice" we make based on influences in our lives. If your son finds gay porn erotically exciting he very likely is gay.

No.: I wonder if you're asking if this could somehow change your son's sexual orientation - i.e., "make him gay." if so, then would watching sex scenes involving only men make other boys/men you know gay, as well? Would watching sex scenes involving opposite sex partners make boys/men you know straight? 20 years from now will you care more about who your son loves than whether he loves & is loved?

Homosexuality hasn't: Been deemed a "mental illness" since 1973. If your son's interests differ from other boys', he's likely heard some hurtful words from peers. If his family also disapproves, he's at high risk for drug use, unsafe sex, depression & suicide as a teen. Block porn because of his age, not his sexual preference. He needs love, acceptance, a "savvy" pediatrician & a local lgbt mentoring group, not shame.

Not likely: Your son may be gay or bisexual. Such orientation develops at a very early age. Fortunately, being gay is gaining more & more acceptance as time goes by. More states are recognising same sex unions & marriages. Discuss it with your son. Let him know that he is loved and u accept him whatever his orientation. Help him to understand that the way may be difficult. Possibly this is only transitory.
