Burning sensation: Yes, this is something to be concerned about. I can't speak to the "popping" noises that you are having, but the numbness/tingling/burning most likely is due to nerve compression at a high thoracic spine level. You need to see a physician and have an MRI ordered to evaluate if you have cord compression from a disc herniation or some other secondary cause.
