Dermatofibroma: Dermatofibromas are firm tan- or red-bumps that often appear on the legs and/or arms of women. As they appear more frequently in women, it is believed that estrogen plays a role in their development. Frequently, they can appear after an injury to the skin, such as a bug bite or an inflammed hair follicle. Most commonly, one as only a few lesions present, that persist and do not go away.
