Why are you on it?: Why are you on Prilosec (ppi med)? Gerd? Esophagitis? Barrett's esophagus? Ulcer? Other? Had an endoscopy? When? Following gerd recommendations, re: diet, tobacco, coffee, fatty foods, lying down, weight loss, peppermint, other meds, etc? In general, lowest dose least potent med, for shortest time to do the job is the way to go. Some people do need to be on long-term meds. Don't know if u r 1.
