It's not recommended: The g6pd deficiency organization recommends against patients with g6pd deficiency eating any legumes, including soy beans, as they can cause low level hemolysis. There are different types of g6pd deficiency, some of which are milder; persons with these types of g6pd deficiency can likely eat soy beans without problems. This would be a good question to put to the doctor who cares for your daughter.
