Are you referring to: A new discovery from researchers at the university of cape town in south africa? Generally malaria has multi drug resistance & each case carefully considered for appropriate treatment. In 2012, at least in animal models, a new medicine which seems to work on all forms & does it with a single dose. Called mmv390048, it is potent, very active, & may be in trial by late this year. We shall see.
