Exam/sonogram: This may not be worrisome, or you could have a polyp, infection, small vaginal teat or the blood can be from a male partner. Some women have mid cycle bleeding related to ovulation. If you are worried, a simple pelvic exam and a sonogram to look at the uterine lining may be helpful. Otherwise, wait and see is also an option.
