Bronchitis : Your chest symptoms indicate inflammation of bronchi (airways), or bronchitis. If not already tried, topical medicine on your chest to interfere with the burning sensation (e.g. Vicks) might help with pain and cough. If you have shortness of breath, marked weakness, or inability to keep plenty of fluids down, you should be evaluated by a health care provider promptly.
