Make sure not cancer: See physician first to make sure it is not a skin cancer. Sometimes the worst appearing lesion may not be a cancer. Dark spots depending on appearance can be very embarassing. Most physicians can remove these depending on the size. Your insurance may consider it cosmetic surgery. If it is a problem to you, then go for getting it removed.
