Unilkely: Having surgery for testicular torsion does not generally cause long-term issues if it was treated in a timely fashion. If left untreated for a long period of time, one can develop autoantibodies to sperm which can cause sperm damage in the other testicle. If there is difficulty with infertility, a semen analysis is required.

Torsion: Torsion is due to a falty attachment of the testicles to the scrotum. It is usually bilateral, so hopefully they secured your other testicle to the scrotum so this does not happen to the remaining testicle.
