Check it out: May or may not be infection but certainly is a problem. Allergies, post-nasal drainage, acid reflux, abnormalities of the throat, vocal cords or upper wind pipe are all possibilities. See your primary care doctor, or an ear, nose and throat specialist (an ent). Often they only need to do a simply office procedure to look down the back of your throat and see the problem.
