Okay for what ?: Pregnancy has been documented from unprotected exposure at any point in a woman's cycle, including during menses. If you are not worried about pregnancy, or have protection, go ahead.

Yes, but..: It may be less comfortable because of the blood, which will interfere with lubrication, but many women will not experience this. Some women feel less comfortable, and their partner should respect this. But for the most, there is no danger at all.

There : There is a difference between getting your actual period and spotting after sex. Regardless, this is not normal and warrants a medical evaluation. You will likely need a pap if not done in the past year and maybe a biopsy of your uterus and/or pelvic ultrasound.
Good luck.

Yes: There is no problem with having sex on your period as long as you feel comfortable. If you are having cramps you may want to wait until the cramps are better, for your own comfort.

What would be the reason of triggering my period after always having sex?

Get tested: Intercourse would not start a menstrual cycle. In cases of infection, cervical polyps and other abnormalities the trauma of sex can cause bleeding. An examination by your doctor is very important to see what is wrong.
