Many possible causes: Pregnancy is only one of many causes of a missed period. For example, thyroid problems, weight gain or loss, stress, intense exercise, dieting, etc. can all make you miss a period. If it happens once, I wouldn't worry but if it becomes a pattern, its best to see an Ob/Gyn and find out why its happening. Best wishes!
