Crusting eczema: The rash may be secondarily infected. You should see your childs doctor to have the crusts cultured in case systenuc antibiotic therapy is needed. If the rash will not clear up with hydrogen peroxide cleaning, topical antibiotic such as polysporin (bacitracin and polymyxin) ointment and topical Hydrocortisone it should be under a doctors care.
