A member asked:

Can a irregular period and extreme pre menstrual pains be caused by lactose intolerance?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Unrelated: Lactose intolerance unlikely causes irregular menses. While lactose intolerance can certainly cause abdominal discomfort, this would occur based on timing of ingestion of lactose and not one's menstrual cycle.
