Epsom salt: Would make be painful, just apply an antibiotic and keep covered. Consider applying ice. If there are any signs of infection, i.E redness, swelling on occasion an oral antibiotic may be needed.

Nail: If the entire nail came off then there's no much for us to do, other than follow up and monitor for infection. See a podiatrist, if it gets infected (redness is an early sign) you might need a course of oral antibiotics.
