Get checked ASAP.: You can become pregnant after a post-partum tubal ligation, though it's rare. The risk of a tubal pregnancy is greater in anyone who has had tubal surgery. So if you had a late and abnormal period, along with abdominal pain, i'd want to get a pregnancy test and probably a pelvic ultrasound to figure this out.
