Decease red meat: Reducing red meat intake usually helps to lower uric acid. There are some other foods. Allopurinol is a drug which helps to lower uric acid. Please check with your doctor.

Life style and meds: It depends why you have an elevated uric acid and are you having gout attacks. People can have elevated uric acid and not have gout attacks. This may not need immediate therapy but you need to be followed. Too much alcohol can also be a problem in some and certain medications can also do this. Your physician will help clarify your best approach.
