Topical antifungals: You should start with over the counter Lamisil (terbinafine) or lotrimin twice a day for 3-6 weeks. See a doctor if they are not better in 1-2 weeks.

Home remedy: One home remedy for treating ringworm is to rub the affected area of skin with a slice of lime dipped in salt (over the pulpy portion). Rub in & follow by rinsing. I can not speak to effectiveness of this approach.
