Are there any home remedies for heartburn?

Hearburn remedies: You could use sodium bicarbonate dissolved in water. Must be careful that you do not have a condition that requires sodium restriction. If the symptoms persist, perhaps you should see a physician.

Hearburn: Heartburn many things to different people. Usually it refers to reflux or gastritis. Over the counter antacids (tablets or liquid) may help. Milk may soothe symptoms but can potentially make it worse. You may want to try small frequent meals, avoidance of smoking and alcohol, and avoiding caffeine and chocolate. Eat dinner early and do not lay down after eating.
