A member asked:

Do people have the same sensitivity to smell as one another?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Bell shaped curve: The sense of smell varies from person to person. Most have the basic set but some are more sensitive to certain odors and there are changes with nasal disease and damage to the internal head strucrtures from injury and certain diseases. There are a few with altered smell (dysosmia) and some have none at all (anosmia) which is quite uncommon.
