Phimosis: Adult circumcision is typically done for phimosis(tight foreskin) . The problems with phimosis that should make one consider circumcision are painful erection/intercourse, recurring infection, severe cracking and bleeding of the tight foreskin and the inability to adequately keep the penis clean and hygienic.
