Yes, no problem: 90% of all people have had genital HPV at one time or another, and at any time 30-50% have HPV DNA present and potentially can transmit it. For the most part, no harm comes. And if you and your partner have been having sex before diagnosis, probably the infection was there months or year before that -- so your partner has already been repeatedly exposed and likely infected. No need to stop now!
