Minimal: You should not use effudex (5-fu chemo cream) on a melanoma lesion. The only curative treatment is surgical resection of skin melanoma in early stage. If you have advanced disease, you should talk wth your oncologist regarding treatment options such as interleukin-2, ipilimumab, vemurafenib or a clinical trial.
