Yes: The uterus is changing its characteristics to allow the fetus to develop. As it enlarges you may experience occasional cramping, which should go away by the time you are 8-10 weeks pregnant. So long as you have no vaginal bleeding you should be ok. If you are worried, your ob-gyn can get serial b-hcg levels which should continue to rise during your early pregancy.
