Abnormal Periods : There are many causes of abnormal periods. Of course, you could be pregnant, and a home pregnancy kit can detect it as soon as a few days before the first "missed" period. The spotting and cramping could represent nothing more than an abnormal period, but it could represent an early pregnancy, or even a miscarriage. Consult your gynecologist.
