Pills may stop it: Hormonal contraception can affect your menstrual cycle but if you did not use other contraception, you may be pregnant. Wait another week and get a pregnancy test even if your period comes. If you still want to use pills, try a different brand, different kind (mono vs triphasic) or lower estrogen. If headaches were short and occurred immediately after taking a pill try taking at bedtime.
