Refractory Period: The time it takes after climax to be able to have another erection increases gradually over time. Called the "refractory period, " this interval gradually increases with age and is quite variable between individuals. A 17 year-old may have a refractory period of 10 or 15 minutes, while a 70-year old man may take a day or two to be ready for round 2.
