If i'm in the steam room with someone who has a cold, and he sneezes, am i more likely to catch his cold due to the steam? or same as being outside?

Probably a wash: It's probably about the same risk. I can't think of a reason why the steam would make it more transmissible. The best thing you can do by far is good hand washing and avoid touching your eyes, nose or mouth as much as you can.
