Nausea on birth cont: Having nausea or throwing up when starting birth control pills is not rare. It may be a temporary response to the pills. You might try taking it at a different time of day, and with food. If you continue to have nausea after several days of taking the pills, you may need to speak with your doctor about trying something different.
