Please clarify: "cancerous mole" is not really a diagnosis. This term most frequently refers to a melanoma. If it is a melanoma, the "mole" itself will have to be removed surgically. Although not usually described as a mole, if the lesion is another type of skin cancer, like squamous cell or basal cell carcinoma, surgery or radiation therapy could be options for treatment.
