No : Allergies in general can run in the family but specific sensitivity such as insect sting allergy to bee, yellow jacket, wasp, hornet, etc does not. The tendency toward allergies is called "atopy" and the atopic diseases or allergic rhinitis, asthma and atopic dermatitis (allergic eczema).
