No: Wearing tight clothes is not going to hurt the baby. The baby is well protected inside your body and will not be harmed by your clothing. Some women will buy girdles and tight pregnancy support belts to support the back and stomach muscles. Most pregnant women prefer loose clothing and adjustable waistbands for their own comfort. Wear what you like and what makes you feel good.

No: Pregnancy should not preclude you from wearing tight clothes other than people may not want to see a very pregnant woman in tight clothes. Common sense too, you do not want to wear clothes so tight, that they constrict your abdomen where the baby is, causing you discomfort.
