Think about something you enjoy, maybe animals, reading, or crafts...You can take a class to connect with people who enjoy similar things, or volunteer, at an animal shelter, library, local school, church..You can make a friend!

Hobbies: Hobbies is easy to develop and network with people who has same hobbies. Or develop a rhythm in your life. Sometimes doing something daily as ritual helps - networking online with facebook is another option.

Reason?: It is worthwhile considering reasons for not having friends. If anxiety around people (eg social phobia), feeling of not being like others, or panic attacks when surrounded by people contribute, addressing these is important; a doc can help. There is no-one who truly is unlike anyone else in all ways, & as stated above, joining a class or group engaging in your interests should lead to friendship.
